I know social media. I've done it professionally every day since 2008. Manager. Director. Consultant. Teacher. Award-winning internationally-syndicated columnist. I live my life in 140 characters and hashtags. Social media is a part of me, and I love it.

Now, after a short stint in a job that wasn't a good fit, I'm ready for what's next:
Working with you.

My story

I have 21 years of journalism experience at newspapers huge and small. After reporting, writing, editing and managing, I wanted to try something new. So I created a niche for myself as a social media expert. My goal was simple: Be the go-to person for all things social media.

“The most important rule of social media: Be social.”

— SCOTT KLEINBERG, SOCIAL MEDIAOLOGIST

I call myself The Social Mediaologist because I once wanted to become a meteorologist, however I quickly learned that I couldn't handle the high-level math. 140 characters was much more doable than statistics, trigonometry and calculus. The name stuck, and I still stink at math.

When I have some spare time, I love to take photos. Strangely enough, I only use my iPhone.

Why hire me?

I'm a team player. I love to collaborate. I only know how to think big. I'm funny, outgoing and results-driven. I can write the perfect tweet and craft a winning Facebook post while Snapchatting and discussing the best Instagram hashtags. Best of all, I can show you how to do it too. I'm looking for a role as a social media manager, director or vice president at a company that wants to do good things for people, and values its employees and wants to see them succeed. Email me or tweet me for more info. You'll be glad you did.
